His 1970 Self-Titled Solo Album Features Mick Fleetwood John McVie Danny Kirwan and Peter Green from the Band. First Legitimate Release on CD. Charmingly Eccentric Release Features Spencer’s Adoption of the Styles of Buddy Holly (“Linda”) Elvis Presley (“If I Could Swim the Mountain”) and John Mayall (“Mean Blues”). Also Includes Mod Pop a la Small Faces on “Take a Look Around Mrs. Brown” and a Yardbirds Rave-Up on “Here Comes Charlie (with His Dancing Shoes On). Expanded Edition Includes the Non-LP B-Side “Teenage Darling” That Spencer Used to Perform Live Dressed as Elvis Presley. Richie Unterberger’s Liner Notes Include Quotes from Spencer.
