A River’s Invitation combines many of our favorite things: classic rhythm and blues echoes of New Orleans second line textured soundscapes funny songs silly songs sad songs that feel happy happy songs that feel sad. Some songs were made up on the spot and completed all in one take others we’ve been playing for years and finally got one we liked. Recorded in the comfort of Lech’s tiny living room these songs are a reflection of our shared experiences on the road and in life; of countless street corner jams endless dance parties and long stretches of highway with one song on repeat.
