This CD contains two fascinating LPs by French composer and pianist Michel Legrand in their entireties: Rendez-vous à Paris (Philips B-77394)， appearing here complete for the first time ever on CD， and Bonjour Paris (Philips B-77.304/Columbia CL-947). Both albums present Legrand fronting his own orchestra and playing his arrangements of a variety of popular songs related to the French capital. Legrand’s first version of his own classic theme “Watch What Happens” from the 1960 movie Lola has been added here as a bonus.
