Description
This album was originally released in 1968 and is available for the first time on CD quite the rarity in today’s reissue market. This album was recorded at the legendary Big Pink home of THE BAND and was produced by GARTH HUDSON.
BENGALI BAULS are a group of mystic minstrels from Bengal which includes the Indian state of West Bengal and the Country of Bangladesh. The BAULS were the three guys standing with BOB DYLAN on the cover of his ‘John Wesley Harding’ album. BAULS use a number of musical instruments the most common is the Ektara a one stringed plucked drum drone instrument others include the Dotara a fretless lute.
