Description
Johnny Winter was an American musician singer songwriter multi-instrumentalist and producer. Best known for his high-energy blues-rock albums and live performances in the late 1960s and 1970s.
Winter’s big breakthrough came in 1968 when Rolling Stone writers Larry Sepulvado and John Burks featured him in a piece on the Texas Music scene which prompted a bidding war among labels that Columbia won. Released in 1969 on the Buddah label sees its first ever release onto CD.
