This release presents two classic Pourcel albums from his Capitol period: Our Paris (Capitol T10002， 1956)， and Pourcel’s Pastels (Capitol T10260， 1961). Both LPs were recorded in Paris and released only in the US by Capitol for the American market. Our Paris was the first of Pourcel’s Paris (and French)-themed albums recorded for Capitol under the international label series “Capitol of the World”. Pourcel’s Pastels was released in 1961 when the popularity of Franck Pourcel was already well established in the US. As a bonus， we have included another Parisian-themed track that previously appeared on the 6th volume of his classic series Amour， danse et violons: “Sous le Ciel de Paris”.
