Ella Fitzgerald at the Opera House was originally issued both in Stereo (Verve MGVS-6026) and Mono (Verve MGV-8264) versions. While the Stereo album presented the actual Opera House performance the Mono LP instead contained similar performances at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Both concerts are presented on this edition which also includes a rare reading of “How High the Moon”.
