Message from Steve Rodgers; “This is my debut album produced by the Ken Nelson and mixed by Adrian Bushby. I have been very blessed to be able to work with both Ken and Adrian and also to be able to have the best musicians I know as my band. I’m thrilled to bits that the album is now completed and cannot wait for people to listen to it and to be able to tour the songs live. “My focus for song writing has always been to write about what is real we can all experience so many different emotions of love heart break pain joy and to mirror the wonder and magic of life. I hope that this album creates the same feeling in the listener. Thanks and here’s to us all keeping our ‘Head Up High’”. At 17 Steve started a band with his friends ’Lost Sons of Davros’. From the ’Lost Sons’ came ’Boa’ who created two great albums - their first single ’Duvet’ was the title track to the Japanese multi award- winning animation series Manga ’Lain - Serial Xperiments’. Boa toured America and the UK but after a period of musical enjoyment Steve decided to follow his own path. Steve has ‘guested’ at Wembley for Bad Company Aerosmith’s Joe Perry and the Robert Randolph Band. His own tours have included support slots for Bad Company in the UK and Japan and his own headline dates in the UK and Canada. Steve has also supported The Deborah Bonham Band and Midge Ure on their respective tours of the UK and Europe and Bad Company with Lynyrd Skynyrd for their coast to coast US tour. 2015 Steve joined Stackridge for a three month tour of the UK. 2016 he toured again with Bad Company and Joe Walsh in the US and UK over a four month period. To coincide with this tour Steve and his father the legendary Paul Rodgers also recorded a single together to raise money for a charity in Middleborough the single ‘This Place Called Home’.
