- Paul Butterfield’s Better Days live from the Record Plant Sausalito on December 30th 1973.
Having broken up his legendary Blues Band in 1971 Paul Butterfield took a prolonged break retreating to Woodstock. There he befriended the fine musicians who joined his next slimmed-down outfit Better Days. Playing a more rootsy form of blues they released two fine albums. This remarkable set performed at the Record Plant in Sausalito on December 30th 1973 broadcast on KSAN-FM and captures them on top form with some great guitar from Amos Garrett. It’s presented here together with background notes and images.
