Released in August 1980 Siouxsie and the Banshees third studio album Kaleidoscope marked the departure of original members John McKay and Kenny Morris who were replaced by two new musicians Budgie on drums and John McGeoch on guitars. The band changed their musical direction for the new record too and offered an album containing a wide variety of colours. It was almost a different band said Siouxsie at the time. In support of the record the band went on tour one which included US dates their first jaunt in North America. On 21st November ’80 Siouxsie and the Banshees performed at Hollywood’s legendary Whisky A Go Go venue where they played a set recorded for FM broadcast across local radio. This CD now features this recording in its entirety released on CD for the first time providing fans an opportunity to witness the group in a live setting at a pivotal point in their career.
