Despite their limited output Attack were particularly revered in the freakbeat and psychedelic rock circles of the second half of the 60s being popular throughout the UK as a live act band that performed lavishly around the whole country. The original line-up of Keith Hodge Roger Deane and Richard Shirman were joined in 1967 by John Du Cann before his departure to form Andromeda and Atomic Roster. FINAL DAZE consists of a mind-blowing selection of some of their singles demos and previously unreleased 1967-1968 material taken from Cann’s personal collection of acetates. The tracks contained here are representative of a seminal moment just before the British mod-psych explosion into the mainstream.
